When did Universal Studios Florida become a popular filming spot for game shows?

Every time I watch Deal Or No Deal on CNBC I noticed that it's filmed at Universal Studios Florida and it surprises me that Universal Studios Florida has turned into the game show filming capital of the game show world. I remember when the original version of Deal Or No Deal was filmed in Los Angeles and not only that during commercial breaks of Deal Or No Deal they show the contestants at Universal Studios having fun and it tells me that Universal Studios paid tons of money to get Deal Or No Deal filmed there. A second game show that's filmed at Universal Studios Florida is Family Feud and if you watch the intro of Family Feud it shows Universal Studios Florida at the beginning. I think that these two game shows are used as a commercial or advertisement to promote the theme park and I secretly think that Family Feud and Deal Or No Deal give contestants and their family members theme park tickets for free. I remember when Universal Studios Florida had Nickelodeon Studios all of Nick's game shows were filmed there and now it seems that Universal Studios Florida has become king of game show filming locations

it was during the 1990s when What Would You Do?, Family Double Dare, Nick Arcade, Nickelodeon GUTS, Legends of the Hidden Temple & Figure It Out were one of the Nickelodeon Game Shows being filmed at the old Nickelodeon Studios.
