What a riot!! Gail had the same hairdo in the yearbook as June!!! June looked like she was dressed to the nines making a cake.

Why didn't Gail just tell Wally in the malt shop that she'd wear flats to the dance? Or just wear flats to the malt shop? I know, no story then!
Also when Eddie heard from W&J that Wally was out meeting Gail, I'm surprised he didn't just immediately take off. He must have wanted that yearbook really bad. |

Yeah why did he waste time with that yearbook.
I thought the same thing why wear heels to see Wally at the malt shop did she think he was Wilt the Stilt? I thought it was so stupid to call the payphone at the hall. Was a pay phone in the book or had Beaver memorized the number? Also in Beaver’s First Date when he is looking for Betsy’s number he chose the first Patterson then never looked back at the book. Speaking of that episode there were many indications to show Beaver was rather soft. He acted like a fool on the phone asking her to go with him and hung up so quickly. He actually thought he had to wear the corsage. He knew about corsages back in the orchid episode. He was also going to give that ladle of punch to Betsy to drink from. He was on the mentally challenged side. |

That business of knowing numbers happens too often. In Teacher Comes to Dinner June picks up the phone and calls the school for Miss Landers. No lookup, like she calls her all the time.
Wally should've clobbered Beaver for making that call (2 or 3 times!) He didn't ask Beaver to do it. What a goofball Beaver is--his brain must have shrunk the older he got. At the end of the inane bunny episode, he hops over to the bed, saying hop, hop, hop, and crashes on it. Mathers was probably muttering, get me out of this madness! As I've said before the only thing that saved that episode was some great lines for Lumpy when he saw Beaver in the bunny suit. |

I loved this episode and I think Wally got the better end of this deal! I didn't realize she had the same hairstyle as June but that's funny. I wish Wally would have clobbered Eddie, but like I said, I think Eddie did Wally a favor.

I wish the writers had taken it that step further and let Wally clobber Eddie. They showed Beaver in plenty of fights, and in a later episode they even let Eddie belt Wally. So why not show Wally belting Eddie? But, they had to have June come in and cut it off.

I know, right? Or it's too bad that Eddie's date didn't give him the business and then he would have really lost out!
