There isn't an ounce of fairness to it, but it must be done. If your siblings are older than you then they can threaten you into doing things for them, and if they are younger than you they can guilt you in to doing it, because if you don't it's "MOOOOOOOOM ... DAAAAAAAAAD" yelling from their mouths...
