Default Janet’s Typing skill

Her typing in the episode “Out on a Limb” was so fake and ridiculous that
it’s not even funny. When Larry told her to type down what he said, her
typing did not match what he dictated. Granted, later on in the episode,
we find out that what she typed down was not what Larry said but instead was
a compliment and thank note to the food critic. Still, I find it odd to type
a letter that fast without editing. I say between Janet and Chrissy’s typing skills,
Chrissy’s was better and more realistic portrayal.

Jack studied hard to be a chef. Yet, Felipe was the one preparing the meals in Jack's Bistro while Jack was only welcoming and serving guests. What a waste, isn't it?

Janet was typing on an electric typewriter which made a smoother noise when someone was typing, and the keys were easier to depress. That's why it sounded like a machine gun. Chrissy was typing on the old fashioned manual typewriter so the keystrokes sounded much slower and more deliberate.

Felipe worked at Jack's Bistro?

Yes. Don't you remember the episode when Felipe was fighting with Furley in the kitchen of Jack's Bistro? I think it was in the same episode when Larry was singing to help Jack.

Yes, I remember that episode, but I think it was just a temporary thing.

Right. I think Felipe was filling in just for that day but who was the regular chef at Jack's Bistro??

The BIGGEST mistake the producers and John Ritter made was not having Felipe as the regular chef at Jack's Bistro both in TC and then There's a Crowd!

It was. It was Season 7's "The Brunch," when Jack borrowed Felipe from Angelino's for a special champagne brunch and Furley was fighting with him in the kitchen.

I don't know if it was the BIGGEST mistake, but I agree it was one of the many mistakes they made concerning Jack's Bistro.

Felipe was a funny character but, honestly, I don't know what they could have done with him as a regular character. The episodes with him are just the right amount where we see him but not too much. I believe they made that mistake with Lana.
