Default Should have lasted longer

what are some shows that should have lasted longer?

WKRP IN CINNCINATI

STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE
that was almost canceled twice, but toward the end of its run it was getting better and I think could have run at least 2 more seasons.

Almost Human. American Gothic. Resurrection. All terrific shows that should've lasted longer but were too ahead of their time or high concept for prime time.

The Job. This was one of the first "adult" comedy shows on network TV. ABC was stupid for canceling it.

The Goode Family. I didn't watch it on first run and only caught it a year ago online. This was such a hilarious series, even better than King of the Hill. Again, stupid ABC canceled it.

Ditto, Napoleon Dynamite. Great, quirky animated series but it only lasted one season.

The latest Muppet Show (where Miss Piggy hosts her own talk show). I never laughed so hard in my life, but stupid people protested the show for being too adult. Then it got rebooted, and the show tanked as a result.

He & She, without question was one of the best sitcoms of the 1960's, far ahead of its time. It should never have been cancelled after one season.

I think Early Edition pretty much ended once Chuck left. They never really found anyone for Kyle Chandler to play off of after Chuck was gone. They tried bringing in the waitress and her son but that didn't work and they only lasted 1/2 a season if I remember correctly.

Erica and Henry were on a full season for all of season 3, I liked them. And Early Edition still had one full season after that. So Chuck was only on half of the show's run, after him the quality of Early Edition was still excellent. Season 5 and beyond would have been nice, but around that time broadcast networks were starting to give up on Saturdays until they became the repeat and sports wasteland of today. Early Edition is the best show ever made, the only show that comes close to it in my book is Fame.

I must be the only person who thought Chuck was obnoxious on Early Edition. I thought the show got better after he left.

Season 3 was my favorite with Erica and Henry. They should have been kept around for season 4.

Chuck was definitely obnoxious, but Gary was such a good, moral guy I think they needed someone to balance him off. Also, Gary seemed to get grumpier and grumpier as the show went on and his life was consumed with saving people.
