Avoid FedEx SmartPost - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I ordered a dvd and the seller shipped using FedEx SmartPost. Total gargage. I ordered on June 29 (10 days ago). Not only has the dvd not arrived yet, but according to tracking, it won't be here for at least another 2 days. Even media mail is 7 days tops. Ridiculous!!

When I went to their website to confirm tracking, I noticed that their website only had a 2 out of 5 rating from their own customers. I ordered a book and another DVD 3 days before via media mail and have already received those items. Try to avoid FedEx SmartPost.

Did the seller offer free shipping or were you charged for it? Either way media mail would've been cheaper and faster.

I paid the standard $3.99 shipping. It use to be $2.99, but Amazon raised it by a dollar around 4 years ago. According to the tracking, the seller shipped on the same day too, 6/29. I sent the seller a message telling them media would of been cheaper and faster.

13 days and counting and still no DVD! FedEx SmartPost is horrible. I will never do business again with them. I know it was shipped, because I tracked it. Of course, I had to use an independent internet tracking business because when I go to the FedEx website and type in my tracking #, my device immediately shuts off, no joke. WTF? Also, when I tracked it, I noticed that it was shipped to 11 different post offices before it arrived at my local post office last night. My mail just came in less than 10 minutes as I type this. It wasn't in my mailbox despite it arriving at my P.O. yesterday!!! I warn anyone reading this to not use FedEx SmartPost. 100% worthless!

I finally got my DVD today, 16 full days (minus the 4th of July holiday) after I ordered it. I don't blame Amazon or the seller, I blame the incompetent FedEx SmartPost. Absolute garbage. Avoid at all cost!
