Eddie Spends the Night

Why did Ward have to drive Eddie home at the end? When Eddie left the house after the chess argument he walked home? In the dark!

Never thought of that one. The thing I noticed was when Wally picked Eddie up, a flip of one switch near the door shut off all the lights, apparently in the entire house.

I also thought it was silly to have Beaver get up and come downstairs, wondering if he'd seen Eddie. He knew they were going and bringing Eddie back.

Along with "Frank" Haskell, just more silly season 4 stuff.

I thought of that too how one switch shut off even the light in his father’s room where he was reading. I’m surprised Wally didn’t yell upstairs “Knock it off Eddie we all know your old man ain’t home and you sound stupid.” The other big flaw is when Eddie is supposed to pretend to turn on faucet but the camera picks up his hands doing a twisty thing. I also love how in the report care episode Wally disappears to change his clothes! Why? Wonder if he did change his shirt it looked different. I can imagine Wally going up the stairs and waiting on the platform to wait for Eddie and Lumpy to do the scene. Eddie once again put the blame on Lump.

I might have checked that out one other time and I think we discovered he did change. Yeah, even in those circumstances, Eddie: "I never would have done it if Clarence hadn't been there to urge me on." (TV) Reality: "I'm gonna change the mark." Oh, yeah, a lot of urging from Lumpy there.

Sometimes I think Beaver is ********!! He cant wait for Wally to clobber Eddie after the chess game..... Then 2 seconds later he claims he doesn't like chess because he doesn't like a game with too much fighting in it

That's funny. I just watched that episode earlier today. I'm guessing that Ward felt sorry for Eddie being at home by himself and guilty for not admitting that Eddie hadn't spent the night with them at first.

Another good point. And he sometimes says he likes shows with a lot of killin' in 'em.

The "too much fighting in it" comment was totally out of character.

Excellent point. Beaver always wants to see Wally slug Eddie. He was disappointed he couldn’t see it when Wally poured ice cream on Eddie.
