Post Flo should of made some guest appearances before the show ended

I wish Flo would of cameback for an encore performance before the show ended. The ratings would of hit the roof with all the promos. I would have liked to see her interact with Jolene, Belle or even Mrs. Waldon, LOL. i heard the producers tried to get her back but linda didn't get along with her, anyone else hear that?

I wish she had come back too. I think the show lost a lot of its magic when she left. I'm not sure about whether she and Linda Lavin got along or not, but I do remember reading that she said that even if her spinoff show "Flo" didn't work out, she wouldn't want to return to "Alice". Holliday stated that it was "like a bird leaving the nest. You never go back."

There were 2 times where I think Flo should have made a guset apperence

1) When Elliot and Vera got married Flo was NOT even mentioned!

2) When the dinner closed Flo should have come to town to share her memories

I do think Joelene and Flo should have met Flo could have rubbed off on her.

Default Flo should have returned

I heard that Linda Lavin did not get along with both Polly ( Flo) and with Diane Ladd (belle) the rest of the cast I am not sure on.

I used to wish Flo would make a surprise appearance, but I guess it wasn't meant to be.

I always use to watch in the later years hoping that she would either make a guest appearance or at least be mentioned in passing. She was such an important character, but after 1980 it was as if she NEVER existed.

I think it would have only made sense for FLO to appear in the Finale of Alice.

Yes,,,I ALWAYS wanted to see how Flo and Jolene would have gotten along!
But they do that in TV a lot when a character leaves they like to pretend as though they NEVER existed! The same thing happen to Chrissy from 3's Company..

I wish Belle had also come back to visit,,she and Jolene would have gotten along GREAT!
That's what's wierd b/c I SWORE there was an episode where Belle came back to visit b/c it seems like I remember Alice introducing her to Jolene,,BUT everyone tells me no such episode exists!
