My father, Sid Ramin, passed away this afternoon, age 100. Suffice it to say I was exceedingly lucky to have him in my life for so many years. His talent, grace, warmth, and decency had a profound effect on me. One of a select group of people who won an Oscar, Emmy and Grammy Award, he remained humble and grateful for the opportunities presented to him over a 65-year career. I never met a kinder, gentler person, and will miss him very much. Sid Ramin, January 22 1919-July 1,2019.
