Sally is one of my favorite actresses. Love just about everything she does.
What are your favorite films with her? These 2 are my tops: ![]()

Places in the Heart is one of my favorite movies. Steel Magnolias is another good one and it's so quotable. Murphy's Romance is cute, too. Sally was in a bunch of entertaining flicks from the late 70s through the 80s. Looking over her filmography made me think where did those kind of movies go?

Steel Magnolias, followed by Forrest Gump and Mrs. Doubtfire.

Wow, can’t believe I’m the only one so far that likes “Eye for an Eye”. I thought that was a riveting.

It's not one of her most popular, and it's not a happy film, but I loved her performance in 2006's Two Weeks.
Field plays a woman on her deathbed from cancer during her final two weeks of life. The film is basically about her family saying their goodbyes while getting the final affairs in order as Field's health deteriorates up until her death. |
