Do you think that Gunsmoke accurately portrayed the Saloons of the Old West?

I love Gunsmoke but due to the 50s and 60s television constraints they did not accurately portray the Old West Saloons. The Saloon Girls in the Old West hustled Cowboys for more than just drinks. The Clint Eastwood movie "Unforgiven" provides a more accurate depiction of the Saloons of the Old West. Some fans of the show did not even understand that Miss Kitty was a Madam. I sometimes wish that they would do a reboot of this series in order to provide a proper historical perspective, but then again it would be hard to redo a classic show like Gunsmoke, because the writing on the series was outstanding even though they were working under network constraints.
