I cannot believe that the movie Shaft is gonna be remade again but this time featuring Samuel L. Jackson playing the title role and I hope that this version is better than the 2000 version of Shaft. I think I will see this new Shaft when it's released on video because Samuel L. Jackson is my crush and it will be cool

Samuel L Jackson played the title role in the 2000 version. The new Shaft is a sequel to the 2000 and 70's versions. Usher is the lead Shaft in this. Samuel L Jackson is reprising his role from the 2000 version. And Richard Roundtree is reprising his role from the 70's Shaft trilogy.

Usher plays Shaft? I didn't know that and it surprised me and I wonder how Usher's portrayal of Shaft will be? I have never seen Shaft before but I do like the song because of it's funky beat and I always to sing along to Issac Hayes parts in the song

Hi, Bestie! I think Usher is too wimpy to play shaft. But it looks like that is how they make movies today. They take a great icon like Shaft and have a wimp play him. That way they look "sensitive" or PC. They are ruining the great movies like Shaft of James Bond.
