Default Antenna TV Programming

We still enjoy Antenna TV watching shows like, The Jack Benny Program & The Burns And Allen Show & Father Knows Best & Dennis the Menace & Hazel & The Joey Bishop Show & I Dream Of Jeannie & Bewitched & The Paul Lynde Show & The early seasons of Three’s Company.

We have noticed a lot of great programming disappearing and not being replaced by other classics. Some classics that have left Antenna TV are Leave It To Beaver & The Patty Duke Show & Mister Ed & The Addams Family & All In The Family & The Monkee’s & The Three Stooges & Mr.Belvedere & Newhart.

It seems like ALOT of great programming is leaving Antenna TV for Me TV-Decades Network in the deal of transition Antenna TV isn’t picking anything up to replace those Greats!

I was wondering if anyone has any news on what Antenna TV’s future is holding.Than again didn’t they just get bought out at the end of 2018?

All in all I’m happy they don’t air movies anymore. I’m just wondering if To Many digital over the air channels is hurting Antenna TV? I might be the odd one here but an example is, I haven’t seen I Love Lucy since it left Me TV Years ago. As Hallmark airs it to early and we don’t receive Decades Network in addition my local affiliates only air The Andy Griffith Show.

In conclusion it looks like Me TV is grabbing the best of Antenna TV’s programming. As Antenna TV is not replacing its hits. So what does Antenna TV’s future hold?

On a side note shouldn’t shows like Where In World Is Carmen San Diego & Romper Room be E/I Programming for Antenna TV & Me TV?

I'd like to see "Chico and the Man" & "It's a Living" on Antenna TV. I'd also like to see shows like "Room 222", "Julia", "Nanny and the Professor" & "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" but I don't know how likely that would be.

OH wow yes!! I haven't seen The ghost and Mrs. Muir and Nanny and the professor since they were on first run late 60's-early 70's !! That would be awesome to see them again. Also Room 222 and Chico. They would be a really cool addition too.

Some additions I want to see is:

December Bride: Spring Byington was On Dennis the Menace talking about her show December Bride. Joesph Kearns who played Original Mr. Wilson On Dennis the Menace was on December Bride as well.

Jeff’s Collie/ Timmy and Lassie

The Adventures Of Ozzie And Harriet

The Donna Reed Show

Car 54, Where Are You?

(Lucy Spin off’s)

The Munsters

The Many Loves Of Dobbie Gillis

The Danny Thomas Show/Make Room For Daddy

The Smothers Brothers

The Courtship Of Eddies Father

The Brady Bunch Variety Hour

Laugh-In

Happy Days

Laverne & Shirley

The Odd Couple

Perfect Strangers

Just The 10 Of Us

Amen

Who’s The Boss?

The Wonder Years

Why does Antenna TV not air any of The Jack Benny Christmas episodes.

it's been said on here MANY, MANY times but it bears repeating-Antenna TV needs to stop that HORRIBLE credit crunch!!!!!!

Absolutely! I’m glad the good shows are leaving because of that very reason. Now I just wish Antenna would get westerns, MASH, and Hogan’s Heroes away from Me and they can crunch those crummy shows, then Me can get some of the better shows and leave them uncrunched.

Wishful thinking.

MeTV has long term contracts with M*A*S*H and Hogan's Heroes. As long as those shows are under contract MeTV cannot stop broadcasting them. It doesn't matter how tired people are of them. Networks like MeTV do not get to pick and choose what they broadcast. Plus it's all about making money. Not so much what people want to watch.

I would like to see Chico and the Man on MeTV, because that would be a great fit for there.

”It’s a Living” is on the Logo channel or at least it was the last time I looked! I sometimes check that channel for “Mama’s Family” reruns.

The credit crunch is so unnecessary. One credit crunch is about how Antenna TV loves to dance. Seriously, what is the point of these things?

I don't like them either. Unfortunately more networks are doing credit crunches these days. Starz/Encore has also started doing them in the past couple of years.

If I had to guess the reason why they do it is so they will have more time for commercials.
