JamesG Freakshow Moderator Forum Icon Join Date: Feb 01, 2008 Location: Brooklyn, NY Posts: 57,140	Worst TV Cliffhangers: Rory Quits Yale *"Gilmore Girls": Rory Quits Yale and Moves In with her Grandparents (Season 5 Finale)* The heart of "Gilmore Girls" was always the mother-daughter relationship between Lorelai and Rory… so of course, this finale went ahead and nuked that, having model student Rory impulsively quit Yale and get into a huge fight with her mom that left them not speaking to one another. (Plus, her stuffy, Yale-loving grandparents actually supported this?!)
