GSN launches Best Trivia Show Ever

Move over The Chase and Jeopardy there's a new kid in town as GSN has just announced the debut of Best Trivia Show Ever which is scheduled to launch this June. Best Trivia Show Ever is supposed to be similar to The Chase and will feature contestants taking on some of the world's greatest game show champions including Jeopardy's Ken Jennings. Best Trivia Show Ever is gonna be hosted by Sherri Shepherd who makes a graceful comeback to GSN as a Comeback Kid in her second GSN hosted game show since she replaced Carnie Wilson in The Newlywed Game. It will be interesting to see how successful Best Trivia Show Ever will be for GSN because after the shocking cancellation of The Chase GSN needs another hit trivia show that will be a hit

I want to see James Holzhauser, Mark Labett, and Ken Jennings play a set number of the same questions similar to The Chase where each contestant locks in an answer without having to depend on any luck of being faster to ring in. With all the interest in Jeopardy right now I want to see a match for winner take all.

Today Best Trivia Show Ever begins it's debut and I tried to see the debut episode on Youtube but it wasn't featured on there but I did see a preview of Best Trivia Show Ever on Youtube and I think ITV will file a lawsuit with GSN because it seems that GSN recycled the entire set of The Chase and repainted it blue and green and not only that Best Trivia Show Ever is exactly identical to The Chase because like The Chase the contestants stand at the same podium and it's blue too. I also cannot understand why Sherri Shepherd is the star of Best Trivia Show Ever and based what I saw from the preview Sherri is very annoying and seems to have way too much energy and they give her a Brooke Burns style entrance like Brooke Burns had on The Chase and someone like Martin Short or Jason Bateman could've been a better host for this show. But one of the experts on there besides Ken Jennings is Muffy Marracco who became a game show champion on The Chase and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. All I think is that GSN brought back The Chase under a different name and added a new host. So I can doubt that this show will last for one season then get cancelled

I liked the Best Ever Trivia Show premiere and will be watching more of it. And I don't see it as a copy of The Chase either. Lots of game shows have contestants stand at podiums and ring in from there, blue is also a popular color that is hardly exclusive to The Chase. I was skeptical about Sherri Shepherd hosting but thought she did a good job.
