Okay so I'm about 8 months late on this but Tom Lester celebrated his 80th birthday last September

Hard to believe that the youngest cast member is now in his 80s.

Oh wow!! Yeah really!! That is hard to believe he is 80 , almost 81!!

Tom Lester was out for a handful of episodes with mono. It was a weak stretch for the show. They brought in Guy Raymond as a relative replacement for Eb, Lisa's big metal art monstrosity gift for Oliver, ghost at the lake. It really showed how valuable to the show Tom Lester was, like all the regulars.

[on his on-and-off-screen chemistry with Eddie Albert] He was never angry, he was just frustrated all the time with us, and he never finished the sentence, and then, they would continue their dialogue, and said, "What the?", "Oh, for the . . . !".
