Say you sent an idea for a DVD or DVD set, for "The Best of Beaver", or "Beaver's Best".

The studio accepted your idea--they think, despite declining DVD sales, that this one will sell.

The job you got is to produce the set, and the first task is to select the episodes. The project manager is flexible on the number of episodes, but has let you know the max. number of episodes is 25.

Your memo for episode selections is now due.

Many good episodes in the first 2 seasons love all of them. Later I think it should have been The Best of Eddie. Eddie saved Season 6 as Jerry rose to a level of incompetent acting. I’ll think about my favorite episodes in 3,4,5,6. Loved Beaver and Andy and the one with Chopper.

I'm watching season 3 right now so I don't have any past season 3 listed. I've haven't seen the show since I was a kid in the late 1980s and I had forgotten how funny it was.

What a great idea! There really should be a Best of Beaver DVD. I like all the suggestions so far, I would also add Wally and Dudley, Sweatshirt Monsters, Beaver Plays Hooky, and In the Soup.

A couple I would add off the top of my head are Beaver Runs Away, Most Interesting Character, Nobody Loves Me, Beaver Won't Eat, Summer In Alaska, Wally's Practical Joke, Her Idol, Beaver Gets Adopted.

(Some episodes, like Beaver Won't Eat and In The Soup, are so well-known they really have to be included.)

I like the Best of Eddie idea. Bachelor At Large, Beaver's Report Card, Summer in Alaska, Eddie Quits School, Eddie's Sweater, Wally and the Fraternity, Eddie's Girl...

Best of DVDs would be easy to do--the episodes are already remastered. Maybe they could make some corrections, like adding back the missing footage on season 3 episodes, like June's Birthday.

A Best of Beaver DVD would be a great way to introduce people to the show who have never seen it or only know stereotypes about it.
