Default Movies with small casts

I recently watched A Quiet Place, and there are only six cast members listed in the end credit roll. Name some other major movies like that.

I don't know about major, but Closet Land (1991) has 2 actors: Madeleine Stowe and Alan Rickman.

The World, The Flesh and The Devil (1959) has 3: Harry Belafonte, Inger Stevens, Mell Ferrer.

Sleuth (1972) has only two cast members, Lawrence Olivier and Michael Caine.

IMDB lists a few other cast members (as credit only) but none of them appear in the movie.

One of my favs. is Richard Linklater's 2001 film Tape, featuring Ethan Hawke, Robert Sean Leonard, and Uma Thurman in a motel room for the entire film.

Two former high school friends are reminiscing about the past in a motel room. One of them doesn't know that the other arranged the meeting to get a taped confession on his ex-girlfriend's rape.

I thought about it some more after I first posted and here are some others I have seen:

Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966)

The film, based on the staged play, features Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, George Segal, and Sandy Dennis.

My Dinner with Andre (1981)

Wallace Shawn and Andre Gregory have dinner and chat for the entire film. The other characters are just the waiter and bartender.

Buried (2011)

Ryan Reynolds is buried alive in a wooden coffin for the entire film. He speaks to other characters on the phone (the terrorists, his family, U.S. Army), but they do not appear onscreen.

Hard Candy (2005)

Ellen Page plays a young woman who entraps an older guy (Patrick Wilson) online looking for a teen girl and tortures him for most of the film. Sandra Oh appears in a small role and there are others with very minor appearances.

Ex Machina (2014)

The film features Domhnall Gleeson, Alicia Vikander, Oscar Isaac, and Sonoya Mizuno in the isolated lab for the entire film.

10 Cloverfield Lane (2016)

The film features John Goodman, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and John Gallagher Jr. in the underground bunker for most of the film.

I saw this movie and IMO it STUNK!!! I'm a fan of the horror/terror/drama genre but this one fell flat I thought !!!

But in answering the threads question : "The Blair witch project" ! The cast only consisted pretty much only of those three poor people who got lost/trapped in the woods, and some footage of a few towns people who were interviewed !

The Caller (1987) - 2 actors. One of Malcolm McDowell's underrated films.

Heaven Knows, Mr. Allison (1957) - 2 actors. Robert Mitchum, Deborah Kerr

Antichrist (2009) - 2 actors, mainly, one other smaller role plays the two lead's child.

There are a couple of more "lost at sea" movies where the film is basically just the stranded people aside from a few minor characters.

Open Water (2003)

Adrift (2018)

Just saw that one. The guy got some great cell reception buried in a coffin. Sometimes I have trouble reaching people 3 blocks away.

Was thinking the same thing. Sometimes, I have no cell phone reception in my office, surrounded by wireless networks!
