Question Mr. Wilson getting angrywith Dennis

Was there ever an episode or any episodes, where Mr. Wilson (either one the first or second) really gets angry with little Dennis? I remember one time when DTM aired on Nick I believe it was a Dennis ep. being advertised. Well, it showed Mr. Wilson (the first one) yelling and I think he was saying something like that he was boiling mad. Then Dennis is seen hiding behind his mom's back peeking out like he's scared. Does anyone remember this happening in any of the eps.? If so what was the ep. about? I'm pretty sure this was a DTM ep. So, if this is an ep. what was it about? Are there any others, where Mr. Wilson gets really angry and Dennis?

Thanks!

Default MOST of the DTM episodes...

...with the original Mr. Wilson, had him boiling over about something Dennis had done!

Dontcha remember Mr. Wilson having to/being forced to take his 'nerve medicine' by the Mrs?

There's just SO many!

Default Dennis

I do believe what you say, and I have'nt seen enough eps. yet to answer my own question. Guess I'll just have to watch more. I just wondered if there was a particular ep., where Dennis hides behind his mom's back and is scared because Mr. Wilson is yelling at him or somebody. Sorry if my question sounds silly, I just thought when I saw this ep. being advertised Dennis although he was scared looked kind cute and all sweet and innocent, hiding behind his mom while Mr. Wilson gave it to him. Poor Dennis! Like I said I don't particularly know if this was a DTM ep., it was a long time since I saw the ep. being advertised.

Gotta love these smileys!

Quite a few time George Wilson blows up at Dennis. The one I seem to remember at the top of my head was the lead intro where Dennis was holding the rope attached to a chimmney brush.... As usual Dennis is distracted by one of his buddies while George had his head in the fireplace. He came out of the house covered in soot and went ballistic... Another episode Dennis told Mr. Beardsmidt (spelling?) to dig a new foundation around George's house.... When he came home with Martha and a new sports car, briefly he was quite mad at Dennis...

George Wilson was pretty angry in "Dennis and the Paper Drive," from the first season. Dennis woke Mr. Wilson up very early in the morning, hoping he could get his newspaper early to add to his collection.
That's one that stands out to me in which George was truly mad.
John Wilson had his brief outbursts, but never really sustained anger that I can remember.

Dennis and his friend Tommy were the ones selling Valentine's Day cards in July to buy swim fins. Sargent Mooney and the news reporters didn't believe Mr Wilson when he was telling the truth that he tried to stop the Valentine's Day in July and he bought the Valentine's Day cards and he didn't want to sell them. I would've told the truth that it was Dennis Mitchell next door that started it and he wanted to sell them to buy swim fins.

The fireplace episode reminded me of the one when Mr. Wilson is changing the dirt in his flower beds on the second floor and he has a ladder Dennis is supposed to hold the rope of the dirt bucket and somehow it falls on Wilson's head. Wilson goes crazy. Also in another episode Dennis has left the house but leaves a bucket of water at the bottom of the stairs and Mr. Wilson is all dressed up with his new shoes and steps right into the bucket. I believe Wilson also stepped into a bucket of paint that Dennis left directly under a ladder. Very rarely is Mr. Wilson happy with Dennis at the end.

I believe it was the first episode Dennis Goes to The Movies. Mr. Wilson comes over to complain because he was painting his house and Dennis moved the bucket of paint under the ladder and he stepped right in it. He tells the Mitchells how mad he is. Dennis hides behind his mother and asks "Don't you like me Mr. Wilson?" Wilson says he does as he's full of pep, cheerful and always helping everybody but he drives him nuts!!

Thinking about it, Mr. Wilson had quite a few bouts with anger dealing with Dennis..... There was the episode "Out of retirement" where Dennis and a half dozen of his buds did not want him to move to Pittsburgh.. They got together and serenaded him with "For he is a jolly good fella". When George went to the window in appreciation only to find the boys standing in his prized periwinkle bed, he blew a gasket.....
