I am in my 30s I am a nice guy woman dont like nice guys I dont know why I cant get a girlfriend or a wife I really don't want to die alone I'm tired of not haveing someone and being lonely I dont want to die alone like Micheal in the godfather 3

Don't give up! It wasn't that long ago that I felt exactly the same way that you do. I didn't meet my wife until I was 39. Keep the faith and keep trying!

It's not true that women don't like men who are nice to them. Women don't like guys who think they're owed something for being nice. There's a big difference between the two.

I didn't even go on my first date until the age of 28 and I remember how depressing being the only single person at work (and being rejected or ghosted over and over again). Fast forward to today and I have been happily married three years, have a little one on the way and over half my coworkers are divorced. In short, I know exactly where OP is and empathize.

Tying this topic into UM, one thing the show taught us (Annette Burnside comes to mind) is that it is far better to be forever single than to live in constant fear only to be brutally murdered. The worst thing you can do was what I did a few years before I met my wife: get into a relationship with someone I knew had serious issues out of fear (of being forever alone): let's just say it was very traumatizing and I could have become a domestic violence (or even homicide) statistic. In other words, I used to scratch my head as to why these people stayed in abusive relationships only to end up featured on UM as a murder victim until I experienced it firsthand.

PLEASE talk to your doctor about your feelings, and look into getting couseling. They can help you feel better and put this into perspective for you. You don't need to continue to live with depression without trying to make it better. And you can't love another if you don't love yourself first.

There are also lots of helpful resources online.

You are worth it; you matter and you deserve to feel healthy. Good luck to you!

I currently have this situation, I'm a single guy, alone and live by myself but I'm enjoying it and count my blessings. I'm probably better off alone and not being involved with anyone. There are lots of advantages to living alone, I can do what I want everyday, no one else to answer to, no one here to bother me. There are times when I think I'd like some female company but I don't spend a lot of time worrying about it. If I eventually meet someone, fine, if not that's fine too. Relationships are a big problem because another person can never be trusted, you never know what's going on in another person's mind. The only person you can trust is yourself. I was previously in a relationship with a woman for 12 years, she was someone I thought I could trust, but she ended up violating that trust and left to be with another man. So someone really special would have to come along now before I trust another woman.

And here's the thing about being nice, it's not going to work if the woman isn't attracted to you anyway. You can be nice but if she's not into you it doesn't matter, I've learned this several times from experience. There's actually a woman in my area that I like, I've been nice and talked to her a few times, she's aware that I'm interested but she doesn't want me so there's nothing I can do about it except say that it's her loss. There's a saying that goes it's the jerks who end up with the girls and I believe this saying to be true.
