Yes, the guest appearance, and never made spin-off episode of Star Trek known as "Assignment: Earth" almost had Dawn Wells in the role of Roberta Lincoln rather than Teri Garr:

I wish she had because I bet she wouldnt' have spent the last 50 years not wanting to talk about the role like Teri Garr...as if being on Star Trek was a bad thing!

I wonder if it may have been due to Miss Garr not wanting others to do the math and work out that she wasn't as young as she wanted others to think she was!
