Nancy McKeon got the "and (name) as (character)" at the end of the cast credits in one of the final seasons. That's something special. How was that managed? Must've been the films she was in.

Actually, she was at the end of the credits like that at the very begining when she was first seen on the show. I think they did that becasue she was the newcomer and I guess they just left her at the end. They saved the best for last!

Most Nancy fans seem to bitch about that.

Point being? Do you mean because she was last or because 'Jo' was put up there? Anyway, I liked the fact they did that for Charlotte Rae in the ruenion movie. Mrs. G. deserved it ![]() ks |

I believe that Nancy also began demanding more credit for her role in around the 4th or 5th season, and actually did not appear in the first couple of episodes in one of those years. She was asking for more money, but also more respect -- she wanted to play more adult roles that she had. I belive that her "credit" in the opening was part of her deal as well.
And, by the way, everyone benefited from it -- all the girls received substantial salary increases because of her. So, it's all good...

In a lot of shows, the last actor mentioned also gets the name of their character stated

Then when you dropped a couple of cast members, you moved up the ones that were left and add additions to the end. As simple as that!
