The second oldest television station in the Bay Area KTVU FOX 2 was known for producing successful newscasts with some of the most outstanding news anchors and with an amazing FOX lineup and lots more it's no secret that KTVU FOX 2 was so popular with the Bay Area crowd. KTVU FOX 2 was also known for the late weatherman Pat McCormick who designed the kids segment Bits And Pieces which featured two puppet characters named Charlie and Humphrey which he played the voices of both characters and are so funny to watch. Today KTVU TV still exists in the Bay Area but no longer carries FOX and is now the San Francisco channel of Buzzr TV. It's really a shame that TV stations today aren't the same as KTVU TV and KTVU TV should be a role model for all TV stations today

I don’t know what you’re talking about. KTVU is still a Fox affiliate, and is actually a Fox owned-and-operated station. Buzzr is on one of the substations.

KTVU is still a FOX station? I knew that they got bought by KICU TV in the Bay Area and when my mom and I used to watch it Mom always liked to watch the midnight movies that KTVU TV would show because they were neat movies from the 80's. I bet you used to like the Bits And Pieces segments that KTVU would show for kids because they were so funny like I used to enjoy when I was a kid. Hi, Bestie! KTVU was bought by Fox but has been around much longer than Fox. So I can see why you did not think Fox owned it
KTVU Channel two first signed on air as an independent station on March 3, 1958. The station was originally owned by San Francisco-Oakland Television, a group of local investors led by a pair of Former Don Lee Network and KFRC radio executives, William D. Pabst and Ward D. Ingrim.Aug 1, 2016

I know i dont live in Oakland but KTVU has been a loyal home of FOX since 1986 while KTVI(St. Louis) has also carried FOX since 1995. What do KTVU & KTVI have in common? both stations from different cities have the same first 3 letters of its name.
