TV Land Fantasy Rebrand

With TV Land saying they wanted to get back to their roots. I wanted to give users a way to purpose their own take on the rebrand schedule. Like know the shows you pick are subjected to being edited for syndication.

Here's my purposed schedule for the getting back to our roots rebrand. It features shows that were once aired on TV Land before and some new ones as well. Now the schedule I'm purposing is a schedule I believe would try to satisfy a wide range of viewers.

This is an awesome Schedule Suggestion. I hope they consider it!

I enjoy The Goldbergs but with it not doing so well on TVLAND. It moving from 9pm to 2AM within a couple weeks makes me think that they realized Modern Programming may not be the answer.

I think what TVLAND will do is add shows from any era of Television. I think it might go back to airring a show like Leave It To Beaver at 9pm & or 12AM will be okay. Instead of having older Classics during the Weekdays only & newer classsics on Weekends & Nights only.

Because of the Scott Baio - Nicole Eggert, Polinsky issue, it’s probably not a good idea to encourage viewership of Charles in Charge. I’d suggest for Who’s the Boss?, which is a better show anyways for both TV Land and Logo and maybe it can air on classic tv and sitcoms channels on Pluto TV.

If it's complementary pairing, I just don't see how great a pairing Charles in Charge is with Head of the Class.

Head of the Class could be paired with WKRP in Cincinnati, since there is a common lead actor (Howard Hesseman), or Growing Pains or Perfect Strangers, as ABC ran Head of the Class on Wednesdays in 1986-1990.

The Proposed Fantasy TV Land Schedule looks quite ok but It is very impossible for Charles In Charge to air at this time.

Charles In Charge was removed for the spring schedule. However it does stay in the winter schedule.

Nicole Eggert was a minor when the show started, and claims it was molestation. It was in the news just as of last year. While you might brush it off as "behind the scenes" and irrelevant, another actor (Alexander Polinsky) from the show also supported her in abuse allegations.

Anyways, there are numerous other and better shows from that era that TV Land can showcase when selecting shows that are older. Shows that were actually popular, shows with stars who people still know now, or closer knit group of characters who generate interest even today (like the Brady Bunch kids, Facts of Life girls).

Charles in Charge was a cheesy show that used to get paired in my market in the 90's with kids shows like 'Saved by the Bell'.
