"Burden of Truth" has been renewed for Season 3 by Canadian broadcaster CBC, star Peter Mooney shared on Twitter.

"'That’s it, back to Winnipeg!' It’s official!!! We’ll be back shooting Season III of #BurdenOfTruth this summer."

The second season premieres stateside on The CW this summer.

Kristin Kreuk is staying on the case at The CW: The network has acquired Season 3 of the Canadian import "Burden of Truth".

Eight one-hour episodes will air in 2020.

Canadian legal drama series "Burden of Truth" has been renewed for its fourth season at CBC. Production is set to begin in Winnipeg, Manitoba, later this summer.

It airs in the U.S. on The CW and they have not yet made a decision on whether to renew the series.

"Coroner", "Burden of Truth" Renewed at The CW

The CW is keeping its Canadian drama pipeline open.

The broadcast network has picked up additional seasons of "Burden of Truth" and "Coroner" to air sometime in 2021. The pickups follow their renewals by Canada's CBC; both are in production on their next seasons.

Additionally, The CW will air a three-episode "special event" of its British import "Bulletproof" sometime next year.

"Burden of Truth" Cancelled; CBC Drama to End with Season 4

Canadian series "Burden of Truth" has been canceled, and will wrap up with its Season 4 finale, Deadline has learned.

Representatives for the show took to its Facebook page today to confirm the news. “We are so proud of the stories we’ve been able to tell each season, especially those related to social justice,” they said. “We’re also tremendously appreciative of the support we’ve received from our fans worldwide, and are particularly grateful to the communities in Winnipeg and Selkirk, Manitoba, for being so welcoming to our crew.”
