Diggy Simmons Returning to "grown-ish" as Series Regular: Exclusive

Diggy Simmons will return to Freeform's "grown-ish" as a series regular, and to celebrate, he will perform at the network's second annual Freeform Summit on Wednesday.

"I’m thrilled to be joining as a series regular on grown-ish and to see Doug become an even bigger part of the close-knit gang," Simmons tells Billboard. "We left off the spring finale with some tension with Doug and Jazz’s relationship, but I’m so excited to see where the story goes.



To celebrate becoming an even bigger part of the grown-ish fam, I’ll be performing a medley of songs at the Freeform Summit including 'Goin,' which is produced by Kaytranada. I’m excited to be a part of this event as both a performer and panelist, which celebrates giving a stage to everybody, no matter what race, gender, sexuality they love and are.

The music I’m working on is very vulnerable, so it feels great to be able to celebrate that as we continue to tell these kinds of stories onscreen."
