Default Mallory

Wow, the first season started over again last night. Don't you thin Mallory looks soo much different at the end of thew series? I mean of course everyone changs but sometimes I think it was a different person all together who started out as Mallory. I know it was always Justine that paled her, but still. I Also, think her acting approved soo much too. Like in the last few seaons she was a lot funnier than in the beggining. However, it seemed ht eolder she got the dumber she got. ohwell. just wondering if anyone else thinks that too.

Yeah, Mallory really looked different at the end of the series. Not only was she older, but she also had shorter hair. She seemed a little dumber as she got older, but I think that might have been probably because the writers might have just gotten tired of the series and just made her character stupid after awhile in the scripts. I'm in a creative writing class and I know that if I'm writing a story and especially if it's comedy, it just ends up being stupid after awhile. It's just a theory, but I think that's probably what happened to her character in the show. But, I think Justine is still a great actress. She's one of the few actresses that I don't think act too ditzy, unlike other actresses such as Alicia Silverstone or Karyn Parsons. I think Justine deserved a better role in Family Ties than the one she played.

I have to disagree there. She was one of the main characters on the show, she was good looking, and young (not young enough to be Jennifer :P) What other role was she supposed to get? She got the best role that was available for someone her age, etc. I also personally think she got much smarter (common sense) as the show went on. Anyway my $0.02 for this topic.

I agree with APK J.R. I think Justine had a huge role on the show. I think other than Michael J. Fox, most storylines revolved around her. I do believe Meredith Baxter, and Michael Gross should have headlined more episodes though.

You do know that she had never acted before Family Ties (other then commercials I believe). I do agree she was better as the show went on and she gained experience.

Her acting got better, and she was very beautiful (and fashionable, ) in the last season.

Wasn't her hair almost as long in the last season as the first season? I think it wasn't until the 3rd or 4th season or so that her hair was really short, that is, until she grew it out again.

To me, she did indeed look different as the show progressed, but not that much different. Anyway, aging does that to people. Gee, look at how much Jennifer has changed!

Hi Paula I Noticed In The Final 4 Seasons That Mallorry Had Gone Through Several Hair Changes In 1985 It was Short With a Lovley Polished Look And Great Shine Too. In 1986 It Got Longer Then From 1987until the end in 1989 She Had It Dyed A Beautifull Shade of Dark Brown That I Thought Looked Fabulous On Mal.

Yea, I did like that color. Actually, I have my hair dyed to a similar shade as Mal's chestnut color

I just wish I could achieve the same shine as hers. It would cost me some money, which unfortunately I don't have right now

Wow. She did a pretty good job acting in the earlier episodes.

Mallory is my favortie character. I would say that my favorite hairstyle is the one Mallory wore in the early years. She looked very sexy with hair do, but as the years went on, she began to look a lot more charming.

Thanks for that comlpiment! The only I do not understand about her is that to complement her hair and face, she never wore any thing sexy. Still, I think Mallory is the best FT character of them all. LeatherTuscaro, Cubs are doing great under bruce Kimm. I hope next season, which I am sure, they will really be great. Sammy is still hitting his homers onto Waveland Avenue.
