Question Favourite Ozzy album/song

I know that hardly any of you actually listen to Ozzy's music, but for those of you that do, what is your favorite Ozzy album or song?
After much deliberation I would have to say that 'Ultimate Sin' is probably my favourite album. I couldn't choose one favourite song though so I narrowed it down to a short list -

Thank God For The Bomb
Shot In The Dark
Never Know Why
No Bone Movies
Perry Mason
Goodbye To Romance
See You On The Other Side
Mama I'm Coming Home
Mr Crowley
You're No Different
Ultimate Sin
Lightening Strikes
Centre of Eternity
Crazy Train
Secret Loser
Suicide Solution

Ok, maybe my list isn't that short!

Cool 'SWEET LEAF'

Guess why!

<< I know that hardly any of you actually listen to Ozzy's music >>

I've been following OzzY since the very first Sabbath album! And IMO...his earlier stuff is the best!

"Ultimate Sin" is a great album.
My mother did not approve of that purchase.
His live "Tribute" album with Randy Rhodes is great too.

My favorite song, is a toss-up between "Bark At The Moon" and "No More tears."

I like Dreamer. Gets Me Through is good too. I really like pretty much all of the songs on his new album... Actually I like his old ones too... I havent heard all but I cant find his old albums anywhere so I can lasten to them all! everywheres been sold otu forever. how annoying. I have been lukeing for ANYTHING with suicide solution on it and I cant find any... Obviously everyone else wants to hear it to. I wannahear it because I wanna understand why someone blamed that song for suicide... I cant understand how ANY SONG can be blamed for that but thats OT. Back on subject i like everything of his i've heard pretty much equally. I love his voice. It's kinda funny in a way. Ozzy is kewl. So Is kelly. they're all cool. cool.

'Suicide Solution' is on the 'Blizzard of Ozz' album. You should definately get hold of a copy cos many people reckon that's Ozzy greatest album.
Here are the lyrics to 'Suicide Solution' -

Wine is fine
But whiskey's quicker
suicide is slow with liquor
Take a bottle drain your sorrows
THEN IT FLOODS AWAY TOMMOROW!!

Evil thoughts and evil doings
Cold, alone you hang in ruins
Thought you'd escape the reaper
You can't escape the master keeper

'Cause you feel life's unreal and you're living a lie
Such a shame who's to blame and you're wondering why
Then you ask from your cask is there life after birth
What you saw can mean hell on this earth
hell on this earth!!

Now you live inside a bottle
The reaper's travelling at full throttle
It's catching you but you don't see
The reaper is you and the reaper is me

Breaking laws, knocking doors
But there's no one at home
Made your bed, rest your head
But you lie there and moan
Where to hide, suicide is the only way out
Don't you know what it's really about.

Personally, I believe that the notion that a song can urge someone to commit suicide is just plain stupid! The judge obviously thought so too because Ozzy was found not guilty.
The lawer for the prosecution also tried to maintain that Ozzy was putting hidden messages in his songs, urging his fans to commit crimes. He claimed that in 'Suicide Solution' Ozzy says "Get the gun. Shoot. Shoot. Shoot." This is absolute nonsense. There is one point in the song where Ozzy sings some gibberish and makes some daft noises and, I suppose, it does sound a little bit like he's saying "Shoot, shoot, shoot" but it's still obvious that he's not saying any actual words.
Anyway, pick up a copy of the song and you'll be able to hear for yourself

Default Maybe a little off topic...

...but here's a case of a band adding lyrics, that most people NEVER caught.

In the song 'Come Together' by the Beatles...you will hear John Lennon exclaiming something that sounds fairly unintelligable at first.

It's the first 2 notes of every refrain...and if you turn the volume up and listen closely, you'll hear John singing "Shoot me"! This HAS been verified...and very prophetic if you ask me!

Also, the line that everyone thinks is "I buried Paul" at the fade-out of 'Strawberry Fields Forever'...is John once again muttering "Cranberry Sauce"!

Thats kindof amusing actually... Ya i heard about the "Get the Gun Shoot Shoot Shoot" thing... They also said the notes in the song make it impossible for a person to ignore what they are saying. besides in order to kill yourself you have to be in a pretty screwed emotional state to begin with... I mean a normal happy person wouldnt shoot themselves even if ozzy did say to... unless he was one very strange kid. Someone also said they killed someone because of the way the song bark at the moon makes them feel. I find it all really funny.

Dude... I talk alot...

God, I don't think I could pick a favorite album. I love too many of his songs and they're all from different albums. But I'd have to say my top favorite songs are No More Tears and See you On the Other Side. I've been following Ozzy since I first heard of him many years ago. I even go as him to Halloween parties every year!
