Default No Jack Benny Show Forum?

I watch it on JLTV reruns (Comcast) and find it funny

I don't remember it when it was live for like 15 years +- (1950 -1965)

each week a new guest star and all very big names

maybe it is here but I can't find it ?

Here's one of the threads under All Other Shows:

http://sitcomsonline.com/boards/show...ght=jack+benny

You can do a "Search this Forum" under All Other Shows, but there isn't much there.

yea, I think they were college roommates. I DO know that Marys real name was Sadie Marx and Jacks was Benamin Kubowskey.

Mary left the show sometime in the 50s...I think I read she had terrible stage fright and she'd finally had enough, I guess. You'd never know it in the episodes I'ver seen...she was really great.

She guested on a Burns and Allen episode. Gracie had her all mixed up on a phone call.

That's odd because I've always heard that even though Jack and George were great friends, that Mary and Gracie had a falling out because Mary was allegedly jealous of Gracie. I'm not saying this is true, just what I've read somewhere before.

I remember reading that Lucille Ball didn’t like Mary, either, even though she loved Jack.
