Default If Certain Shows Went On For 1 Or More Seasons Instead Of Being Cancelled......

Three's Company- If the show continued for a 9th season (not counting Three's A Crowd), I don't think Priscilla Barnes would have continued on as Terri Alden. I've watched several interviews where she has stated that Three's Company were the worst 3 years of her life. She asked repeatedly to be removed from her contract and the show, but to no avail. As far as I know, her contract was for 3 years. With her three years being up at this point and if the show continued on, most likely she probably wouldn't be back.

The Brady Bunch- If the show went on after season 5, the show would not have had Robert Reed as Mike Brady back. In the last episode of the series, Robert Reed was not in this episode. He was growing tired of the series' outlandish story lines and was at odds with Sherwood Schwartz and producers. He walked off set or was removed from the set for the last episode. I've heard it stated before (I could be wrong) that if they had done a 6th season, his character would have been killed off.

The Facts Of Life- Some sources have stated over the years that they wanted the cast to do a 10th season. If this was to be, I don't think Mindy Cohn (Natalie) and Nancy McKeon (Jo) would have returned because they were tired of doing the show at this point.

Family Matters- I've read over the years that there was plans to do a 10th season, but when the cast came back, the sets were already dismantled. The 10th season was supposed to have the wedding of Steve and Laura and the return of Judy Winslow (by a different actress). The plans to do a 10th season were scrapped.

ALF- I am speculating here, but I think if ALF went on for a 5th season, they would have had ALF live with a new family. The cast of the show has stated that it was hell behind the scenes and if the show went on for another season, they would have went insane.

Gilligan's Island- I am speculating here, but I dont think Tina Louise would of returned for a 4th season as she was tired of doing the show.

Herman's Head- I liked this show and wish it could have lasted a lot longer than 3 seasons. If the show went of for a 4th season, I have read that there were plans to do the thought characters for Heddy (Jane Sibbett) like they did with Herman.

Any more shows that anyone can think of?

I think I read somewhere that if GILLIGANS ISLAND came back for another season they were going to have an episode where Ginger got off the island.

And I think I read about THE BRADY BUNCH planning to have Mike be killed; also. And the reason he wasn't in the last episode was that Robert Reed read the script and said the episode was too ridiculous.

NewsRadio - If this series had returned for a sixth season, the setting would have been changed from WNYX in New York City to a radio station in New Hampshire. That's why the final episode saw most of the characters deciding to move there. It was one of those season enders designed to work as either a season or series finale.

If Hannibal hadn't been canceled, we would've seen a brand new version of Silence of the Lambs played out the next few seasons, this time with Mads Mikkelson as Hannibal Lector. Will Graham might've met the same fate as he did in the Thomas Harris novel.

If Almost Human hadn't been canceled, we would've learned more about what was behind "the wall", as well as learned more about why the MC's girlfriend betrayed him.
