I was told that on the AITF DVD/on the tapes too I would
assume, they used to have a monologe that has long since been edited out. Was this on EVERY episode? How long was it? When did it occur? Could anyone provide an example of the things that were said? Thanks! |

I don't think there was a "monologue" Jack. Whoever told you that probably meant "epilogue", which was the same kind of tag scene you see at the end of "The Brady Bunch" or "Three's Company" right before the closing credits roll. The first few seasons of AITF had tags and they were the first things to go when it was time to edit the show for syndication (same thing happened with "Three's Company" and "Andy Griffith").
When TV Land was running AITF, some (not all) of the tags were restored. |
