I’d love to see some poetry.

To me, when I write a poem, it’s extremely personal and a piece of me.

I’m sharing 4 of my favorite poems with you guys...hope you like them and can get some sense out of them. Make of them what you will, I’ll never share their true meanings.

AWAKE
Wake me from a sleepy death
Dream with me of black passion
Bleed me of my last breath
With a wink and a whisper, tell me a lie
Behind a thick wall of angst
And with that, I let out a torrential sigh

TWO
Pinching
Hot
Tingle
Feel of my nervous skin
Feeling your glowing skin
Foreign senses within
Feel of my soul bursting with light
Feeling your soul wanting infinity
Give up the fight
Become
Became

MAKE ME
Make me undo myself
Make me see dirt
Make me sweat
Make me stumble
Make me afraid
Of my own sight
Make me
Make me take flight

YOU
I want to smell every inch
Show me your inner beast
Smother me with your silk
No one but you, to say the least
I want only you
Shades of darkness
Clouds of white
I want all of you
Only you
all of you in the moonlight
Smother me with your silk
Strangle me with all your might
I want you

BURN
Set me afire
Scorch me with your hot coals
Burning all night
Pour your flames onto and into me
With no water in sight
Smoke intertwining; a show for the pulsating stars
Ablaze with passion
in the red moonlight

LIE
Seldom have I ever been this bored.
If my wings weren’t clipped, I could soar.
A soft blanket covers my coldness.
The winter frost encourages my spirit.
Friendly faces always open doors.
I nap at night to get my rest.
Coffee makes me perky.
Birds only fly when they’re ready to leave the nest.
I only settle for the best.
I never lie.

IN PIECES
Unpack myself
Place my worth inside the nightstand drawer
Sit my truth upon an oak shelf
Sweep my essence under the door
Swipe a cloth over my dusty soul
Pick what’s left up off the spotted floor
Capture a few tears in a jar
All of me is unpacked,
but I’m still mangled to the core

ONENESS
Indulgence of the mind
Silky existences are being uncovered
Biting into the peach of the present
Expose my interior
Shed me of my paint
Swallow my aura
Blow out my candle
Musky air brushes over us
Darkness abounds and it is so divine

NEW HARVEST
So many seeds planted
Convolution deadened them
Trying to dig them up got me nowhere
Flying away would be a better solution
Don’t you think?
Whenever forever comes,
new seeds can be sowed
Exhausted of the endless same
I’m ready for a new coming of fruit
I can taste it.
