Is it just me or has Subway really went downhill? They used to be a quality restaurant but now it seems all their vegetables are either too mushy or not ripe enough and the bread is always hard. Not to mention, does this company not drug test?! All of their employees seem to be high on something....they’re slow and not very pleasant.
I have 4 Subways in my area and ALL of them are this way. I’ll probably just let Subway be a bad memory and never go again. Oh yeah, and their prices seem to rise with every visit. |

There are four Subways in my area, and they seem just fine, as always. I wonder if maybe your issue is a regional thing: maybe a bad supplier or something. As for the staff, that will definitely vary, as fast-food places cycle through employees pretty quickly. The good news is that there are plenty of other chain sub shops and independent sub restaurants that could use your business; do you have Schlotzsky's, Firehouse, Charleys Grilled Subs, Quiznos, or Jimmy John's in your area? Or locals?

I never cared for Subway at all. Their chicken products, on the few ocassions I tried them, tasted really funky. In NYC we had a chain that was called Blimpies. They were great in the 79s and 80s. They too went downhill. So to sum it up, I don’t eat in neither.

I never cared for Subway myself. The last time I had a sandwich there I became ill. I prefer Jersey Mike's.

I had Subway last week and the bread edges were hard-as-a-brick.

The last time I ever ate at Subway (probably five years ago) I had a tuna salad subway. It like 80% Mayo. Many if their stores don’t seem super clean either. You can have them.

We used to have a Blimpie here but it left...it was good. There is a local sub shop that I frequent—-They’re really good and offer MANY different breads and their veggies are always fresh and no end pieces.

I agree with a lot of the Subways are not very clean; the last one I went to seemed kind of dirty. Probably the reason why I became ill eating there.

We have several in our area and some are okay but others are terrible. I guess it depends on how well the employees to do their job at each one. I like Firehouse Subs better.

McDonalds seems to be more meatier than Subway! And maybe Subway was better when they cut in in a V. |

Well I LOVE the tuna at Subway!! IDK why? , But to me it is really good, like addicting !!
It is unusual( not like any other tuna I ever had and full of mayo), but like I said to me it is just SO GOOD! ! And I always get it on flat bread with spinach ,lettuce, tomato, onions, and sometimes pickles !! ![]() With that being said , the tuna sandwich is the ONLY thing I like or ever order there! The lunchmeat, turkey, ham etc is really bland and low quality and they barely even put enough on the sandwich anyway!! ![]() I have ordered my Tuna on other types of bread besides flat bread sometimes and yes, the rolls tend to be hard and kinda stale! As for the veggies, they always seem fresh and good! And the Subway I usually go to has really good, nice efficient employees ! ![]() But yeah, basically tuna on flat bread with veggies is the only thing really good as far as the food goes and I guess I'm lucky our local Subway is clean with nice employees!!

I am just mad they got rid of the "hearty italian bread" but other than that I still enjoy their food. My favorite is the chicken bacon ranch on toasted flatbread and meatball wrap. |
