I saw where an actor named Jackson Odell passed away. I read that he played a character Ari Caldwell on the Goldbergs, but I don't remember a character by that name and I just binge watched the show to get caught-up. Can someone explain this to me?

I remember him as one of Barry's high school friends. He was on several episodes.

Adam's first girlfriend Dana's last name was Caldwell. Maybe this Ari person was her brother.

He didn't have a huge presence on the show. A good portion of people didn't even remember the character as it was that small of a role. It is sad that a guy that young had his life cut so short. I do wish his family and friends the best.
