1969 was the year I started getting interested in top 40 music and began listening to the AM top 40 stations. I will list a few of my favorite hits from that year and others are welcome to list their favorites also.

CCR was big in 1969, they had several hit songs on the charts that year. My favorite CCR hit is Lookin Out My Back Door, but that song came along a year later in 1970.

Those 2 would be on my list, but Get Together was originally released in 1967 although it was re-released in 1969. Time of the Season was released in 1968.

I still love all these songs that I just listed and many more from the 60's !

But these are the ones that I really remember liking back than as a kid!
