Default Where is your absolute favorite place to go?

Whether it be somewhere you go everyday or somewhere you’ve only been once. Where is your absolute favorite place to go?

No surprise here, my favorite place is DOLLYWOOD! It’s so welcoming and pleasant. A safe haven with fun rides, good food, lots of Dolly merchandise....and sometimes DOLLY is there! Even though I only live about 3 hours away from the park, I’m still not able to attend as much as I’d like to. Hopefully within a few years I’ll be able to start buying a season pass so I can attend at least 3 times a year. There’s just something so special about that place to me.

A solitary walk in the countryside, though the exact location and itinerary must sadly remain clandestine. I can reveal what might be my least favourite place to frequent though: Dollywood.

I did think twice before using the word. I meant it in the sense of hush-hush, that I wanted to keep the place to myself, not that I go into the countryside as a paedophile or for some other nefarious purpose. https://www.google.co.uk/search?sour...10.jCrgWYklF9E

Sorry to spoil your evening, but I'm glad you continue to read my posts.

Absolutely! The drive up to Dollywood is so beautiful and peaceful. The last time I went, a tree had fallen across the road and had the traffic backed up. Luckily, I had my power saw in my car. A few other guys helped me get it all out of the road.

It is beautiful & peaceful once you get up into the mountains. Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge are pretty but they are always so crowded. It's been a couple of years since the last time we went, I'd really like to go this fall, if we can. Do you go pretty often?

My first visit ever was July 2017. I fell in love with Dollywood and the area so I knew I had to buy a season pass to the park for 2018. I also went to Dollywood Christmas 2017 with my Mom and Aunt. In 2018, I went a few times with my Mom and one time by myself. I really hope I can buy a season pass again in 2020. I can’t wait to see the new 5-Acre expansion called “Wildwood Grove”. I adore Dolly so much!

I wanted to go during Dollywood’s Great Pumpkin LumiNights last year but my mom passed away just a month before and I wasn’t in the mood to go, especially without her.

Also, a great pizza place in Pigeon Forge is Big Daddy’s Pizzeria.

I was only curious as to what the word meant since I had never heard it before. I had no idea it was a synonym for secret. No disrespect toward you was intended, just thought it was a very interesting word.

Zion Nation Park

One of the most beautiful places I have ever visited; absolutely breathtaking, and an awesome area to go camping and hiking. Definitely one of my favorite places in the world.

DisneyWorld at Epcot in "The World Showcase" I loved walking thru the different "Countries" So much to see and sample! I loved France! Also, the nightly fireworks to music, around the lake were spectacular!

Other favorite places are:

Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, and Sequoia National Park, California, both places are magical especially the majestic giant trees of Sequoia National Park, it is like being in a fairy tale
