Question What's your favorite Woody Allen Movie?

What's your favorite Woody Allen Movie? Mine's Everyone says I love you (Look at my avatar!) IMO you should really rent it.It's rated R but only because there's a rapper in it who says the F-word once. That's it.And Julia Roberts talks about orgasms. There's singing involed and Natalie Portman cries after losing Lukas Haas to Gaby Hoffman. It's everything you need in a good movie!

I have too many favorite Woody Allen films.

Right now, becasue it was recently on cable and I had the chance to see it a few more times, my current favorite is
"Broadway Danny Rose."

Absolutely brilliant.

Others: Sleeper, Love And Death, Take The Money And Run, Annie Hall...all brilliant.

The only Woody Allen film that I can say I actually liked was the brilliant Hannah and Her Sisters. I've never been a big fan of his type of film.

"Bananas" is hysterical!
Charlotte Rae is in the film, only briefly in the beginning as Fielding's Mother.
Sylvester Stallone has a bit part as a mugger.

His first few films were crazy, joke filled farces. Really funny stuff.

!! Yea, my dad walked in the house and saw it on the counter and was like, "Who got the Woody Allen movie?" and I was like, "It's for Lizzie!" and he was like, "Ok, *walks away and mutters* That's really weird" and I was like, "Why?" and he's like, "Woody Allen is really...odd." Yea, I know you all wanted to know that...

Early Woody movies were unpredictable while the newer ones are basicly the same thing (Neurotic New York Writer looks for love in a beautiful younger woman who he would never be with if he didn't write the movie!)

It's odd how I chose Everyone says I love you since that's the exact plot! (Woody Allen falls for Julia Roberts,Natasha Lyonne listens in on her visits to her shrink and tells him everything to say EXCEPT in THIS movie Julia Roberts leaves him for her ex-husband and Woody Allen kisses his ex-wife played by Goldie Hawn who's married to Alan Alda!)

Default Mine would have to be...

...'Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex, but Were Afraid to Ask'!

Burt Reynolds in the...ahem, 'unit' of a man was hysterical!

But the scene with Gene Wilder and his 'sheep lover' was unforgettable!

I've seen bits and pieces of "Annie Hall" but I think the only one of his movies I've seen all the way through was "Hannah and Her Sisters". It got rave reviews when it came out and even won an Academy Award but I didn't care for it too much.

"Hannah And Her Sisters" has it's moments.
"Annie Hall" is a great movie. Check it out if you can.
