A few minutes ago I saw the debut episode of Proven Innocent and I can honestly say that FOX will have a winner on their hands and with a strong cast Proven Innocent will prove that FOX has the talent to show successful dramas and focus on something else besides sitcoms which they are known for. While the cast of Proven Innocent is top notch I think the reason why Proven Innocent will be a huge hit is because of Kelsey Grammer and in Proven Innocent Kelsey Grammer's acting is flawless and has improved since he starred in Starz's Boss and by being in Proven Innocent Kelsey proves that he is not just a sitcom star but a smart drama actor in general. I think if Proven Innocent is a hit for FOX it is worthy of a second season

"Proven Innocent" Opens Low

Leading out of back-to-back episodes of "Last Man Standing" aka Friday’s consistently top-rated program, Fox’s "Proven Innocent" premiered to just 3.1 million total viewers and a 0.5 rating.

Succeeding "Hell’s Kitchen", that marks a demo low for that Fox time slot this TV season, and I have to reckon it’s the network’s lowest rated drama launch in a while — and that’s including (blast from the past alert!) "Second Chance‘s" Friday debut (which scored a 0.7).
