Mädchen Amick was first introduced to TV audiences with a guest-starring role in a 1989 episode of "Star Trek: The Next Generation".
“I loved that character, because she was a throwback to the 1950s/1960s Star Trek with the velvet bodysuit and the big bouffant hairdo,” she says. “I was going to have a much bigger role as the escort for the queen, but I had already booked Baywatch: Panic at Malibu Pier, so they just made me one version of the character.
