I used to watch AFTERMASH when I was in the 6th grade. I guess I liked it because my Dad used to watch the original MASH every night at the dinner table.
I only remembered Rosalind Chao just being this very pretty Asian woman, but she has had an incredible career. She's been on TV and in movies for 30 years practically. I watched her as Arnold's teacher on DIFF'RENT STROKES and as Keiko O'Brien on STAR TREK NEXT GENERATION and DEEP SPACE 9. Of coarse she had a big part in JOY LUCK CLUB and smaller parts in films such as LOVE AFFAIR (Warren Beatty). And that's just for starters.

Rosalind Chao has also appeared on "The O.C." as the principal of the private high school.

She was in the Robin Williams Cuba Gooding Jr movie about the afterlife I forget the name but I think it is called What Dreams May Come!!
