In 1977, ABC showed a reunion special which combined the casts of two of my favorite series, My Three Sons and The Partridge Family. The show was only aired once and wasn't seen again until someone found a tape of it and posted it on YouTube. It didn't last very long but today I saw that someone re-posted it again last week. I will present it for you here today to watch and enjoy for as long as it lasts again. Note that the video quality may not be the greatest because, after all, it was 1977:

I can't believe some entity would blow the copyright whistle on this. Surely no one thinks it's going to be rerun.
Somebody might make a claim on the music performance though. |

Thank you for posting. It’s incredibly cheezy (especially the ending with the cast singing a custom number), but it’s fun to see. The script is really awful and no one is really convincing, with the exception of that old coot, Bill Demarest.
The new Tramp doesn’t look anything like the old Tramp. Where is poor Dodie? They trotted out everyone, including Sally (who wasn’t even a regular cast member), yet Dodie gets the shaft. Clearly Shirley and David insisted on getting to sing solos in exchange for appearing. Nice of Susan Dey to send a video clip - one of the few times she ever had anything to do with the Partridges after the series ended. |
