How can I stop notifications going to my email telling me someone responded. My mailbox is full of notifications. Thanks.

Go to one of your messages and you should see an unsubscribe link just below it. There's also another link to unsubscribe to all threads you're receiving notifications from.

This is one of the reasons I avoid those A-Z, Quotes, etc. games on individual sitcoms. You constantly get the emails. You of course can unsubscribe from those threads, but every time you participate, you have to unsubscribe again.

Yeah, you just have to remember to do it every time. It might be nice if they changed that, but I doubt they would.

If you don't want any notifications you can do this.
Go to User CP -> Edit Options -> Default Thread Subscription Mode. Select "do not subscribe". I have it set to this and I never get emails. |

Still getting emails and I changed it on Andy Griffith too. I did the unsubscribe mode maybe I should do “no email notification.” I’ve also stopped posting on A-Z and Quotes.

You can also go into User CP again, go to Subscribed Threads, and List Subscriptions. You can go thru and put checkmarks next to everything (there's a box next to Notifications at the top which will check all the boxes on the page). Then go to the bottom right dropdown, and select Delete Subscription.
There may be a lot of pages...I had 27. You can click on Last Page and clean up all the old stuff. |
