There are a lot of cases that I found very interesting on UM. 2 of those interesting cases I think could be solved very soon are the Dub/Chance Wackerhageon case and the Chaim Weiss case. I know authorities announced that they now believe that Dub and Chance were victims along with the girlfriend. They must have a suspect in mind to make that statement. Also the Chaim Weiss case seems to be getting much closer to being solved. A lot of new information has been given to the public in recent years such as a creepy Easter Card given to the family years back. The authorities announced they believe the killer was either a student or facility member. They also said someone "has a secret" in a press conference. I would not be surprised if they know who the killer is but need more evidence for both these cases.
So what do you guys think about the likelihood of these 2 particular cases getting solved soon? You guys certainly have your theories about why these murders happened and the killers possible relationship with the victims but in this thread I'd like for you to discuss if you think these cases will get solved soon or if you think they will most likely not get solved soon or at all. |

I think both have low chances at the moment.
Chaim's case, unless someone cracks. It's not going anywhere. I have this theory that, yes, it was someone in the school and whether it was an administrator or not.. I think the administration used pressure and perhaps threats of excommunication (or whatever the Jewish religion has as an analogue to that) to keep people silent. Dub and Chance.. That's low unless they find the bodies. I think, based on relatively recent statements where they've basically said Dub wasn't responsible, they do have ideas on that.. But.. They haven't found them. So, I don't think the ideas are all that well developed. |

I do think the Wackerhagen case will someday be solved. I'm less optimistic about Chaim Weiss.

Can't comment on Wackerhagen because I don't remember that one off the bat (waiting for it to come up on Amazon, I just started last week) but I don't think the Chaim Weiss case will be solved soon. They may even know who did it but not be able to prove it (I think I've read rumors of this on the boards?) but I don't see any one actually paying for it.

It is my theory that Chaim Weiss was murdered to silence him from speaking out about pederasty/molestation. This is why this case has gone nowhere. Similarly to the Boston scandal, victims have a tough time coming forward, and high level church officials and law enforcement (in this case the Brooklyn D.A.) tend to look the other way.
I googled my theory, and someone has already tumbled down this rabbit hole already:http://protectjewishkids.com/chaim-weiss-murder-update/ |
