Default fav era?

what's your fav era? the 20s, 40s, 60s, 80s, 70s, today, what?

mine's...........

THE 60'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOOOOOVE THE 60's. THE MUSIC WAS GREAT, THE CLOTHES, EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to this antique clothes store by the beach that has actual clothes from "back in the day" like the 70s, 80s, etc...and i didn't have any money to buy anything from the 60s! I MUST GO BACK THERE!

THE 80's!! I would have loved to have seen so many of the great shows that were on in the 80s. Well I saw the shows but I only lived four years of my life in the 80s so its not like I remember any of them. The clothes look pretty awful but the music is so cool!! And everything seemed so bright and colorful. And tv shows had the BEST theme music.. even the commercials were good!!! It just seems like a really cool era to have grown up in.. wah too bad I was born in the middle of it and don't remember any of it.

The '60s. Moreso, the late sixties.

I wish I could have gone to the original Woodstock.

THE 70s!!

I wish I was born in 1964. Then I'd be a teenager in the mid-late 70s when everything was groovy! Lets see....I'd be 8 in 1972.....I'd spend muh Saturday mornings watching Fat Albert, Josie and the Pussycats (BETTER THAN THE MOVIE), and Scooby Doo (Never saw the movie...I might like it). And the MOVIES!!!!!!!! Saturday Night Fever, Grease, Butterflies Are Free, Jaws, Carrie, Halloween and others. My primetime days in my preteen (9-12) years would be The Partridge Family, Good Times, Sanford and Son, and others. My summers would be spent watching Guiding Light, Search for Tommorrow, Edge of Night, Ryan's Hope (in 1975), and of course that itty bitty little show named ALL MY CHILDREN!!!!!!! ERICA ROCKS! And the game shows.....Match Game, Family Feud, Pyramid, Price is Right (with dark head Bob), Treausre Hunt, Hollywood Squares...Anyway..........I'd be 12 in 1976. I'd watch Charlie's Angels, Laverne & Shirley, The Jeffersons, What's Happening!!!, Welcome Back Kotter, Alice, MARY HARTMAN MARY HARTMAN!, and of course on Thursday, March 15, 1977, at 7:30 pm central, the TV in our house would be tuned in to ABC because that's the exact timeslot that their 8 season-7 year hit series, "Three's Company" premeired. I'd most probably tape it on one of the earliest VCRs. On August 24, 1979, I'd tune into NBC to watch "The Facts of Life." I'd tape that too. Oh and in 1978, I'd tape "Diff'rent Strokes." Oh course on December 31, 1979, the decade would be over. No more going down to the disco, no more sporting bellbottoms, fros and platform shoes. A new decade, The 80s would have come and I would be ruined....

But I'd like the 50s too! I'd be born in 1940. Malt shops, jukeboxes, school dances, B/W sets, hot rods, The Brighter Day....erm.....forget the last one...........If I was in the 50s, I'd want to live the life they lived in Grease. That movie was swell...............

If I lived in the 60s, I'd be born in 1956. I'd watch DARK SHADOWS every day after school along with the original Match Game and the 60s Password. The sitcoms would be nice too. All those gimmick sitcoms.....a 10-year-old's dream. Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, The Flying Nun, Gilligan's Island, The Addams Family, The Munsters. And the others like My Three Sons, The Lucy Show, Gidget. And the music. Nancy Sinatra ALL THE WAY!

If I lived in the 80s.......woah......if I lived in the 80s I'd want to be born in 1972. I'd religiously watch FOL, Double Dare, Silver Spoons, Kate & Allie, Diff'rent Strokes, Gimme a Break!, and all the others I know I forgot to name. And the movies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SIXTEEN CANDLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE BREAKFAST CLUB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOOTLOOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DIRTY DANCING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FERRIS BEULLER'S DAY OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would give anything to live in the 70s or 80s. I like today, but the things I'm interested in aren't as good as it was back then. 80s Nick and early 90s Nick was great! But now Nick is horrible! 80s NAN and 90s NAN was great but current NAN IS TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!

But.........that's just my 99 cents..........

Minus the clothes, the 80's looks pretty cool.

No surprise here... THE 80s!!! The greatest time ever to have been a kid!!! Pop culture exploded in the 80s, the fantastic music, the great movies, the classic tv shows! The fashions of the time were silly, but so was everything else about that wild and wacky decade.

My favorite eras were the 60's and 70's. The tv shows then rocked. The music was cool, even the fashion was kind of on the cool side.
