I'm a little late on this one, as the 60th anniversary was last Tuesday. But, better late than never!
To me this is one of the unforgettable ones. Beaver and Larry getting so hopelessly late for school that they are afraid to go in, so they hide in back of a billboard. They get so hungry that they wander into the supermarket and end up on a mid-day TV show with a cowboy star. Wally and June catch him and Larry on TV at home, lying about how they got there. Miss Landers' lecture to Beaver at the end, "It's as if you threw away a whole day of your life." |

One of my favorite episodes of the series.

The show host was great. He had them both struggling for answers.

Yeah and Ward was wonderfully irate at Beaver and June. “June you can pick up clothespins anytime.”
Reminds me of the time Ward had to go pick up Beaver and Poncho at school. |
