do you have any habits when you get nervous? like biting your nails, etc?

when i get nervous, i can't stand still. i like tap my foot constantly. i also do that when i'm mad...

When I get nervous and I have to talk in front of a group, etc. I constantly move my hands every which direction while I talk. It's really bad- and then I talk really quick/ crack jokes. If I have a set thing I have to do in front of a group/ audience I can do it fine, but for class projects or just talking to a group/ getting asked questions. Man, that's the killer.

When I get really nervous about something I start to feel like I'm going to vomit. and tears well up in my eyes... but like if something is gonna happen at school and I'm nervous that will happen at home.. once I get to school I just stick it out til its over.

o yeah for presentations and reports I usually seem to quit breathing ... so then all of a sudden i feel the need to take really big breaths.. its bad.

When I get nervous, my hands really start to shake. I feel like I'm about to faint or something too.

I don't get nervous in any day-to-day situations. I never got nervous giving presentations at school and I never got nervous when my band performed in front of the entire school either (which surprised me actually cos I thought I would be nervous).
The only time I do get a bit worried is if I find myself in a situation where I'm talking to someone I'm really attracted to. That doesn't happen very often though cos half the time they won't even look twice at me.
I used to suffer panic attacks when I was a teenager. I dunno if any of you here suffer from that but it's really scary. You start getting nervous and freaking out and you don't even know why!

I get this sick and dizzy feeling, sometimes if I'm really nervous my mind will just go completly blank. If I'm just kind of worried or a little nervous I'll tap my foot.

Yep...........happens to me. Just yesterday I was so nervous in school I started crying and couldn't stop, and I ended up hyperventilating and getting sick in the bathroom...yuck. My principal had to take me in her office and calm me down

Well, when it comes to giving presentations I find myself going numb and I begin to mutter and mutter really fast.
When something is bothering me and I'm nervous maybe about someone's well being I pace for hours.
When I'm nervous about a test or something I just shut up and speak to no one really.

When I get nervous I get really fidgety and I can't seem to sit still and I can't breathe. It takes me forever to start breathing normal again. Sometime's I'll cry...like last nite. But I think that's just because I was excited. lol

I SCREAM! Like if i hafta do a performance or sumthing i look at the clock and see how close it is and scream lol. i also get butterflys and i cant concentrate

And sumtimes i just get nervous for no reason....like i get all these butterflys and stuff and i think "relax, there aint nuttin to worry bout" i dunno y that even happens

well wen i get nervous everything happens in a certain order...first i cant sit still....hmm,...than i get all the butterflies in my stomach and feel like im gonna throw up. than...i start to shake.....than im pretty much at the peak of nervousness and..yeah

Yeah when im nervous i talk really fast and forget to breathe and then im like GASPPP!! ANd i get really shakey and i cant control it! ASK ANYONE WHO WAS AT SOLO CONTEST!
