So I have been watching UM reruns on Prime and recently saw Season 4, episode 25 ( 25 minutes into the episode ) in a Lost Love case. The case is a missing twin - Robert Brown, adopted name Robert Macy. His twin sister and him were separated when they were young in Fresno and moved apart as they were adopted by different families. It showed as unsolved on the new reruns which have been updated, and was unsolved on the UM Wiki: http://unsolvedmysteries.wikia.com/wiki/Robert_Brown I was able to run some checks and sadly discovered Robert Macy spent most of his life drifting the western US, and died in Tucson, AZ in 1996 (cause of death unknown). https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/.../robert-h-macy I was able to confirm this is the missing twin from a photo in database checks, cross referenced to the driver's license printout from the episode. My guess is that because his twin sister was in another state, had a different name Martha Brown (and then a different married name Martha Smith), combined with his status as a transient, authorities likely never contacted or even knew he had a twin sister. Sadly Martha died in 1995 in Redding, CA. So while this is now solved on the internet... I doubt it was solved for the twins. The UM Wiki has been updated and the UM Info has been submitted. |

i watched this episode recently and wondered if there had been any update. Kinda sad to know they both died in their 40's.
