Default Teasers/Taggers - original scripts

***MAJOR SPOILERS OF OF ORIGINAL SCRIPTS AHEAD***

(thank you to fellow member RetroGuy2000 for sharing these mini-"scriptlets"!)

"Golden Cavities"

Oh, wow---"it's an energy boost"---sounds like Monster and 5-hour today!

Ahhh,haha---Tootie references Mounds and Almond Joy!

Molly on an anti-sugar rant---man, living with her, I bet those girls sometimes got annoyed with her rants!

Hey, Tootie's got jelly beans! Just like she went on about so in "Dope"!

But Blair's line seems odd to me: "You're right. Fillings take a lot of drilling and pain." You'd think she'd talk more about the cosmetics of it all, and not the pain, lol. I would think a different girl would say that line, like Cindy or Natalie, or Nancy, if she talks.

"Romeo & Juliet"

Hmmm, anyone else notice that only "the big 3" are in this one?

"Well, what are you crying about? They'd be dead by now anyway."

Ahhhhhhhhh,hahahahahaha!!!

(also makes me think of that podcast you guys were saying they were talking about Tootie with things like this, hahaha)

Ya know, though, they should have used Nancy instead of Blair! Nancy is in a committed relationship, and is sensitive, and she acted in Shakespeare as a leading role, so this would have been perfect for her.

"Clones"

Awww, "Garrett is doing needlepoint". I <3 that

Tootie reads the definition, and then is more confused than before!

Also, so odd that Mr. Bradley teaches classes---it makes the campus seem so small! Like there's only 1 dorm, with 7 girls. lol

Also---so weird to think of "clones" being discussed as scientific reality in 1979! I thought that really came into play with "Dolly the sheep" in the early 90s, lol.

"Homework"

And there's Blair, still impishly turning out that lamp and dashing! haha

Just like Lorsie, I can so hear that season 1 intro theme starting in my head when Blair turns out that light!

So, all the girls were in these, except for Cindy and Nancy; who, coincidentally, were the only 2 shoved out of a whole episode ("Molly's Holiday").

Also, interestingly, though these are comic pieces, and Natalie is one of the biggest sources of comic relief, she gets no comedy in her lone appearance in these! lol

Yeah, no sugar, no polluting, no calling women "girls", no sex... Molly was kind of a downer sometimes...

Yeah, I wonder if "Golden Cavities" was originally supposed to be paired up with "Dope".

I agree it's an odd line for Blair, but I think by the time of the first retooling, the producers knew who most of the Unlost Girls would be, and scripted accordingly. No way were they going to allow Nancy a line in this! She had a line three scripts ago!

As Emily would say, when she's not inhaling grass, "Really"!

But, again, like losing Sue Ann, losing Molly lost those whole areas of feminism, environmentalism, and advocacy (until they split a bit of that between Natalie and Tootie).

Tootie's so young, here, that Britt's declaration that Tootie's a sociopath is kinda silly: yes, she's very literal, but she's 12.

I agree, wholeheartedly. Another wrong to justify when we hop in the time machine...

Yep. Sue Ann got plenty of lines in the main scripts, and even some in the mini-scripts.

I was picturing more like a TARDIS or a DeLorean.

Also: no need to take time off: when we're done, we just set the machine to come back five minutes after we left. No fuss, no muss.
