I read today that COZI is taking Real McCoys off. That's not as bad as it sounds, because the way COZI did run Real McCoys it was barely visible or findable on their schedule. I think (I say I think cause I still don't know what COZI did for sure) they supposedly ran the series each day at, I believe 5 am to 6 am. But the local affiliate in my area would only show unwatchable infomercials for that one hour that Real McCoys was supposedly shown by the national Cozi channel. My local affiliate only showed one day a week of Real McCoys when they didn't run their annoying infomercials instead of good programming meant to be seen. And that day was, I believe, a Sunday at 5 am. Of course all the episodes they showed during the week were skipped entirely so you only got to see 2 out of 14 episodes shown, COZI did show the episodes in order but with 12 out of 14 skipped each week you missed 98% of the series. That is, of course, if you only relied on TV channels kindness to watch your favorite series. Decades ago I stopped that foolish practice, I watch all my favorite old TV shows now on DVD and before that only on tapes. So what COZI did and how lousy the tv stations messed up the broadcasts didn't personally affect me, it was just sad for any new person out there who may never have heard of Real McCoys before. The way COZI did run the series when they had it was basically unseen and unwatchable anyway. So this latest turn of events really doesn't make any difference, considering you couldn't see the show even when COZI ran it.l
NOW, the good news is that since COZI has removed it from their schedule I'm hoping this means another TV channel like FETV or ME TV or Antenna TV will pick this EXCELLENT show up and if so I hope they run it at a time when people can actually see it, prime time would be excellent. Usually when one channel drops a series next thing you know another channel has picked it up, COZI used to run The Avengers now CHarge TV runs it and also Secret Agent Man, so if you only rely on TV broadcasts to see your shows you can still (if you search) find them. Now if Real McCoys was shown each night at a regular time instead of the sickening MUSH or Hogans Zeros for the 10 millionth time, Real McCoys would be a smasheroorni hit.
