I'm thinking of trying out an audio book--Michael J. Fox's, Lucky Man.
Has anyone tried a book on tape? I guess they're available in either cassette or CD. Will I have to buy a special tape player or just buy headphones? I love to read, and I'm wondering if the audio book experience is a good one. |

I've only heard a small portion of a book on tape. It was interesting. The reader was very good and made it very intruiging because she read what was on the page. She knew when to add suspense and everything. It was cool. When I listenend to this tape nothing special was used. I just stuck the tape in the tape player. I didn't even used audiophones. I guess the quality of the tape can lay in the hands of the reader on the tape on how good a job they do.
Does anyone know if "Moby Dick" or "The Great Gatsby" is on tape? I could really use a tape for at least one of them, considering combined it's over 1,000 pages of reading. Ugh, great summer I have in store ks |

Thanks ks.
![]() You might want to check Amazon.com or BarnesandNoble.com to find Moby Dick or The Great Gatsby on tape. Happy reading this summer! It'll be great if you can just lay on the beach and have the book read to you. |

I've never listened to a book on tape, but personally, I'd rather just read the actual book. I just like the idea of reading instead of listening. I don't know, I'm a dork......that's just me.

I'm not big on audio books... but that's just me. I usually end up falling asleep if I listen.
